Providing Compassionate Pet Care for Over 30 Years
At Yorkshire Veterinary Hospital, a
Colorado Springs animal hospital,
we have provided area pet owners with compassionate pet care for over
thirty years. The dedication of Drs. Scott and Corinna Hamann to
veterinary excellence shines through in each exam and procedure. We are
also a proud member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA),
an organization that provides accreditation to only 15% of veterinary
facilities in the United States.

Our
animal hospital offers a comprehensive range of preventative,
diagnostic and urgent care for area pets. We offer treatment for all
breeds of dogs and cats as well as exotic pets, birds, reptiles, fish,
and pocket pets. Our veterinarians regularly perform routine
pet wellness exams, vaccinations, spay or neuter procedures, complete dental care and surgery treatments. We also have a
veterinarian on-site to handle urgent care cases that come in during normal clinic business hours.
In May 2011, we relocated to our new facility at the southeast
corner of Dublin and Academy in Colorado Springs. This new location
provides the space needed for our state-of-the art technology, including
an in-house laboratory, laser surgery facilities, digital radiography,
ultrasound and more. We are incredibly excited and proud of the many
possibilities our new building proposes. Expanding to a new facility has
allowed us to help even more animals live long, healthy lives.
Vet Hospital with a Lengthy History in the Colorado Springs Area
Yorkshire Veterinary Hospital
originally started in 1979. Our goal then was simple: providing area
pets and their owners with compassionate, quality veterinary care. Since
that time, our practice has grown into the large animal hospital
it is today while keeping the same basic principle. In 2005, following
the retirement of the previous owners, the hospital changed into the
capable hands of Drs. Scott and Corinna Hamann. As distinguished former
staff members, the Hamanns brought an easy transition ushering the
practice into a new era.
Throughout our rich history we have proudly supported several local
and national animal charities, including: the Colorado Greyhound
Association, Harley's Hope, Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue, Four Paws,
Feline Friends, All Breed Rescue and the Humane Society. Supporting
local animal organizations gives us the opportunity to share our skills
and knowledge with pets in need.
As Yorkshire Veterinary Hospital continues to grow, we look
forward to helping pet owners enrich the lives of their companions and
save animal lives.
